We serve our clients with caring, respect, and thankfulness. We know that each one is unique, and want their images to reflect who they are. Whether an individual or a family, our images should reflect their personality and purpose. We care that they are completely happy and satisfied and will work to achieve that goal at every turn. We respect that our clients are valuable to us, and that their images are valuable to them. We are thankful, knowing that we are able to do what we do only because of those that put their trust and faith in our talent and ability to create the images they desire. We take that responsibility to heart, and strive to do our very best work for each person that comes to our studio.

who we are

Allyson is the Queen Of One More. She is the one that makes sure your hair is perfect, your clothes are just right, and you are at your very best. We call her the Queen Of One More because she always has one more idea, one more look, one more image that she must create for you, to be sure you have the best images you can have.

Ally

Mark loves good dark coffee, and can most days be seen in the studio with a cup close by. He never really grew up, loves junk food, likes loud music, and sometimes gets a little too silly. Maybe that's why he relates to high school seniors so well. When he works he talks a lot, tells silly stories and jokes, and bounces from one set to another, always tweaking and looking for the perfect image. He lives and breathes photography, loves to create images, and teach others about the science and art of photography. He bought his first camera in 1990, shooting until he figured out why it did what it did. Then the camera seemed like it was attached to his hand. The hand not carrying the coffee.

He has earned his Certified Professional Photographer designation from the Professional Photographers of America where he has been a member for most of his 23 years as a professional photographer.

Whether you want fashion forward studio work, Cool location shots, or even the old standards, TPDSeniors merges traditional quality with modern style. We'll do some stuff I've never done before, just to see if it works! We'll do images from different angles, from above, from the floor, indoor, outdoor, your location or ours. We will play!

Your session goes by fast!. We'll talk, laugh, cut up, and have fun making the best possible senior images for you. If you don't want to have fun, or are just not excited about your senior images, then I can recommend some other places for you. I have fun, and am passionate about photography. I want that from you, too!

All sessions include your studio consultation and planning appointment photography session time with the photographer, editing and pre-touching of your images, and presentation session time.
You will also receive at least 1 "Sneak Peek" image from your session on social media, and additional social media files from each image chosen in your final order.

Sessions can be at our studio, which has many prop and background options, or on location. We have several locations we use regularly, and can suggest one that fits your style, from urban to country. Sessions include an unlimited number of clothing changes, and pets are always welcome!

So, got questions? Here's some more info!

What should I bring?
Well, we'll do at least 3 outfits, so bring way more than that. So how about your favorite...Sunglasses. Hats. Pets. Hobbies. Awards. Musical Instrument. Friend. Jeans. Shirt. Necklace. Earrings. Make-up. Formal gown. Cap & Gown. Swimsuit. Shoes. Flip-flops. Whatever. Bring it.

What about hair and make-up?
If you want to get your hair cut, please do it at least a week before the session. I know how you are never satisfied with your haircut until you play with it at home and get it like you like it. Make up is fine, but should be modest, unless you are going for a specific look. We have some basic items here for hair styling and a full length dressing mirror so you can check yourself out.

The school says I have to get my pictures done at Prestige, BPI, or our contract photography company...
Your school may require that your yearbook picture come from the big chain store picture mill in town. This is to make every image in the yearbook look the same, and to make it easier for the yearbook staff. There is nothing I can do about this, but some yearbook staff will accept images to their specifications, and I have no trouble providing those if they will allow it. However, being forced to have your yearbook picture there does not mean you have to purchase those. Your senior portraits are just that. They are your senior portraits. Go to the big chain store picture mill for your yearbook picture and then come to Turner PhotoDesign. We will handle the cool stuff.

When can I have my senior portraits taken?
Whenever you like! We suggest April through September, but we photograph seniors all year long! We do work by appointment only though, and sessions go fast, so call soon. Prime time appointments in that beautiful evening light will book weeks in advance!

How many images do I get to choose from?
As many as we can fit into your session type. For a combo session, you will typically see about 50 images. We do not focus on quantity, but on the quality images you deserve!

Can I bring my car?
Yes!

Can I have some images in B&W?
Absolutely. We do some poses that are specifically designed for B&W.

Can Turner PhotoDesign do my yearbook picture?
Yes! But...it is up to your schools yearbook administrator whether to allow you to use it.

What should I wear?
Whatever you want! be sure to keep in mind that long sleeves photograph best, and keep the attention focused on the face, where it belongs! Wild patterns, polka dots and paisley flowers compete for attention, and we don't want that. The image is about you, and not your clothes! That said, colors are wonderful! Basic black, wonderful white, and everything in between will make your image pop!

OK, sound good?

Mark & Allyson Turner at Turner PhotoDesign have done senior portraits for 4 of my sons so far and we will most definitely use him again. I love the way he brings out their individual personalities and doesn't do cookie cutter shots where every graduate does the same thing. His images are so clear and bright. He will use only the props you want and will go anyplace you want to to take photos that are special to you. His portraits are so great he even won a image competition with one of my son's senior pics he took. He gets his order our quickly and doesn't leave you waiting for months. I highly recommend Turner PhotoDesign and will most definitely be using them again.

Mark & Ally have done three of my children's senior portraits and our family photo as well, and our experience with him has been excellent. He is a skilled photographer and I would highly recommend him.
